When I’m not obsessing over human behavior, employee engagement and the future of work, you can find me cooking, hiking and discovering our planet with my husband and our three teenagers. 🌶️🌵🌎

In fact, our travels is what prompted my love for cactuses.

Before founding Cactus 83, I was the HR Expert & Researcher for Officevibe/Workleap for 7 years. And prior to that, I was the HR Director and Organizational Coach for Triton Digital for close to 9 years.

Right from the start of my career, I discovered a talent for connecting with people and it’s since stayed at the heart of who I am and how I work: I’m curious, empathetic and love to empower others in their quests.

My background and research have enabled me to become a sought-after speaker and presenter. Over the past 10 years, I've participated in and hosted many conferences, webinars, podcasts and workshops to share my passion for culture and engagement.

Why Cactus 83?

When I founded the company, I wanted a name that people would remember. You have to admit, this one sticks!

I’ve always loved cactuses, so that part was easy. I then added 83 to refer to March 8 (8/3), date of its foundation. Finally, I borrowed the formula from my friends at Gorilla 76 who are an inspiration to me.

Cactuses and humans are similar in many ways. Cactuses don't grow overnight: they need care, love and patience, just like humans do. Cactuses can grow in the most difficult conditions, just like humans do. Cactuses are beautiful but prickly, just like tough conversations we have between humans.

It all boils down to this: facing the prickly stuff unlocks growth and greatness.

My ideal customer is a small business because it's where connections are direct, simple and human.

I'm a person of impact, and for me, that means proximity, collaboration and trust.
